I think this logo basically just needed to be simplified at tad bit. The logo part of it is all that we really need and should be advertised as such. The text can be added in places like a website etc where the logo might need to be explained. http://clients.junketdesign.com/openkinect/logos/logo_openkinect-02.png <--- just keep the swirly logo bit.
