To use the C++ interface to libfreenect:

  • include libfreenect.hpp
  • derive a class from FreenectDevice
  • define callbacks.

In order to use the C++ wrapper together with OpenCV, you will need to derive a class from FreenectDevice that implements callbacks and get() functions compatible with OpenCV.
